Fire brigade fundraiser The Mangawhai Singers are once again performing for the community at the new museum for Christmas with a selection of songs and carols for the whole family, and this year the fire brigade boys will be taking donations on the night for their fundraising. Northland DHB appointments announced Health Minister Tony Ryall has announced the appointed members of the Northland District Health Board (DHB). Each DHB board consists of up to 11 members. There are seven elected members, and up to four appointed members of each DHB. The appointed members of the Northland DHB for the term beginning 9 December 2013 are: Tony Norman (reappointed), Greg Gent (reappointed), June McCabe (reappointed) and Sharon Shea, who is reappointed. Tony Norman has been reappointed chair and Sally Macauley, an elected member, has been reappointed as deputy chair. |
