Woodys winners are now wondersKaren Lennon is a true Wellsford supporter.
“The public have supported me at Woody’s Winners so I’m prepared to go that extra mile and offer Wellsford something a little new and different,” she says. That ‘new and different’ is now being called Woody’s Wonders, just a few doors up the street from her Lotto outlet. It may be called an overflow shop but it’s much more than that. Stationery, art and craft supplies, pens, folders and crayons have had a change of home but they are accompanied by a whole range of new products. For the girls there are dolls, dolls clothes and accessories, and dress-up things, and for the boys you will find model kits, dinosaurs, and science stuff. Then, for the whole family to enjoy there are large outdoor board games and pinball machines and also a lot more in the toy range for all ages. “I’m hoping this venture will be long-term,” says Karen. “I believe the town needs a shop like this and I’m a great believer in shopping local. Woodys Winners is one of the most successful Lotto shops in the country. Let’s hope Woodys Wonders can be successful too. |
