Kids caring for Koalas

 

Sadie Donaldson from Marton (pictured left) and Ella Reardon from Auckland have both been holidaying with their Mangawhai-based grandparents over the summer holidays.

While there they spent some time making mittens for koala bears burnt in Australia’s bush fires. The fabric was kindly donated by Trish from Funky Clothing at the Village shops.
