Talent on display in Mangawhai Exhibition.jpg "alistair morrow(copy1)") An Anniversary Weekend art exhibition open to the general public will showcase a mix of artists who won prizes at the recent Gilmore Brown Kaipara Art Awards.Organisers say it’s an event not to be missed by browsers and buyers alike. An array of works from a talented group of artists is bound to create interest as they bring forth different perspectives in a variety of media. Artists displaying works include: Jeanette Vickers (photography), Alistair Morrow (photography), Gailene Marsden (abstract acrylics and watercolors), Rachel Lowrie (acrylics), Wendy Clifford (acrylics, mixed media, prints), Lorna Kean (mixed media, charcoal, acrylics), and P’LA Designs – a collaboration by Lee-Ann Hamilton and Pauline Mathews who mix traditional and digital art forms. Visit the exhibition at 60 Wintle St (on the way to the surf club) Mangawhai Heads, 10am to 5pm January 25 to 27.
