New address for Mangawhai OsteopathOsteopathy works by restoring balance in the mus-cular and nervous systems while at the same time releasing tension through ligaments and connective tissue.
Chris Longley has been practising in Mangawhai since 2009 running clinics on Tuesdays but can now be found at a new address, the Pilates Studio, 110 Tomarata Road, just a short hop over the Causeway from the school. As an ACC registered practitioner it is not necessary to have a doctor’s referral to be treated by Chris. Osteopaths are primary healthcare providers and are skilled in diagnosis and testing. Problems needing further investigation or analysis may be referred fur-ther for blood tests or x-rays, ultrasounds and more or, depending on the issue, to an appropriate provider. Treatment usually consists of gentle massaging and articulation of bones, joints and muscles plus cra-nial work which can be beneficial to the very young as well as the aged. Chris’ sessions will begin from 10.30 am for at least during January though he is on the lookout for suitable long-term premises. Find Chris in Mangawhai Tuesdays, Dargaville Wednesdays. Rates $70 for a standard adult consult, $60 children under 16, $40 for ACC. |
