Calling all Celtic designers!

 

The Waipu Museum Art 'n Tartan Awards event is starting off the year with a hiss and a roar. The prize pool is growing and currently stands at $10,000 with a possibility of even more on offer.

Changes in the entry sections are designed to attract even more entrants and ideas than in the past.

To explain the new entry sections and to answer any questions there is to be a get-together at the Waipu Fire Station on Wednesday February 4 at 7pm. Anyone who is thinking of entering or who would like to be a volunteer for this growing event should come along to express an interest.

Held in July, the Art 'n Tartan Awards will be the first big event in the huge Celtic Barn currently being built in Caledonian Park. The new venue will bring fresh challenges and inspiration for event director Helen Frances and her team. It is assured of being another stunning night of colour, music, light and entertainment.
