Summer Classic at Mangawhai Tavern

Herbs pic-719The Mangawhai Tavern has grown to become an icon of live music in New Zealand, so it’s only fitting for it to be the host of the inaugural Summer Classic.

Presented by Red Rum Touring and George FM, and kicking off this Waitangi Day (Friday February 6), a stellar international and local lineup of electronic musicians will take the tavern by storm.

One half of Australian supergroup Carmada, LDRU has become a well-known name in the world of electronic music, having made waves over the last two years as a solo artist with his complex beat-driven productions. He takes headline position alongside fellow Aussie Touch Sensitive delivering smooth House music, while bringing up the rear on the local front is hometown hero and proven party-starter P-Money.

Supported by a swathe of local talent including Terace and George FM acts The Beat Mafia and Mike Ross, everything kicks off at 7pm and runs ’til late. Tickets are available from Event Ticketing (eventticketing.co.nz) with

$29.90 earlybird tickets on sale now.

P Money-500BEATS: DJ P-Money is just one of the many electro talents at the Summer Classic.
