Piroa-Brynderwyns Landcare Group extends huge thanks to the Mangawhai Natives team and the amazing volunteers who turned up on June 27 to plant the reserve on the corner of King and Cove Roads in Mangawhai. For the past two years Lew, Guy and Helen have been controlling the weeds and preparing the site for planting – they finally put the plants in the ground for all to enjoy. As the project lead Lew said: “Many hands makes light work.” Lew, Guy and Helen – thanks for your two years of hard work as volunteers.
