The Team of (skip) Gerry Mulligan, Noel Lynch, and Bruce Hathaway won the day. Well done. Mangawhai bowlers have also done ok competing in Maungaturoto’s 12 one day tournaments over winter. The last tournament was on Wednesday July 8. Hard to believe its over already. Tiger Turf Bowling Tournament Another round of Tiger turf speed bowls was held on the Mangawhai AWG. There have been several similar tournaments over winter all over the Northland scene. The winners of these tournaments will play on the OTP green in the near future. Played in sections, the winners of each section play off to find a winner on the day. Well done to Neville Franks, Noel Lynch, Ron Heaton after a fortunate win against r/ups Graham Wintle, Wayne Williams, Charlie Shepherd. - Ron Heaton |
