Bennetts of Mangawhai are proud to announce that Mary Bennett has been hand-picked to be a part of the prestigious The Great New Zealand Cookbook which will be launched at the end of July. Keep an eye out for the book launch party and signing event.

Kids holiday program
Bennetts will also be running their very popular school holiday program: Children’s Chocolate Making Classes. Send your children down to Bennetts to enjoy our chocolate making classes. Dates: July 7-11 1-2pm and July 14-18 1-2pm. These classes fill very fast, so get your kids in early!

French connection
Bastille day, while a tra-ditionally French celebra-tion, is a way to liven up your sombre mid-winter days.

Bennetts have their very own French chocolatier and invite you to pop into the shop for a special offer on the day. It’s guaranteed to be a delicious treat.

The Auckland Food Show will again be showcasing Bennetts of Mangawhai at the ASB Showground’s,

Café news
Bennets’ two chefs have been hard at work all year and are in need of a tropical holiday. From July 21 to August 14 the cafe will be offering a limited menu to customers while the chefs re-energise with a little R & R. Your favourite cafe will still be open daily 9-4pm, so come on in and treat yourself and enjoy the warmth by the fire. Things will be back in full swing Friday August 15, just in time for the weekend.

Father’s Day is the next major celebration on the cal-endar so don’t forget. It is the first weekend in September, Sunday 7, and Bennetts will have some ‘man-size gifts’ to treat Dad with this year – ready at the end of August.
