School ball a main event

On a Saturday night at the end of June, the Wellsford Community Centre became a place of pure wonder for Rodney College students as they held their annual ball, one of the most anticipated events on the school calendar.

And what an arctic blast they had with a Winter Wonderland theme, complete with icicles, snowflakes and a

forest with fairies – and all thanks to student leaders Cory Nicholls and Kimberley Bartlett, and teacher Colleen Wright who oversaw the project with a dedicated team of staff and student helpers.
