Rescue helicopter service says huge thanks to More FM

Radio personalities John, Flash and Toast, and the wider More FM Northland breakfast crew were recent guests at the Northland Rescue Helicopter Whangarei base to say thanks for their ongoing support of the service. The helicopter engineering team cooked up a storm on the BBQ and everyone enjoyed fantastic burgers.

It was nice to be able to give back to the More FM crew, said a rescue helicopter spokesperson, as they do so much for the service and so many other worthy organisations throughout the community. The biggest thanks was reserved for the More FM effort during the All Day Fundraising Breakfast Show which raised $126,000 for the vital emergency service.
