Mangawhai theatre reopens06 Dec, 2021
Mangawhai Movies are back on at the Mangawhai Historic Village church on Molesworth Drive, lighting up the local silver screen from December 11 with a showing of historical spy film ‘The Courier’, followed by kiwi movie, ‘James & Isey’ on December 18 with co-star James Cross set to attend. After Christmas, one of New Zealand’s most talented award-winning bands, Six60, will rock the theatre rafters with their doco-film ‘Till the lights go out’ on Wednesday December 29. Films will be shown every Saturday at the summer time of 7pm. Covid protocol is to be observed, sit in your bubble otherwise one metre apart, and vaccination passes required.
