To the end of the Earth

Matakohe’s award-winning Kauri Museum recently played surprised hosts to a touring group from Iceland. 

“We certainly gave them special attention for travelling so far,” said museum registrar Dennise Brownlie, pictured here with the group. “It was interesting that the group before them were from Poland!”

The Kauri Museum was the first attraction of their visit and their introduction to New Zealand.
