Coastline clean-up Just to prove good things can happen on Friday the 13th, that day and the next saw a hundred students from Ruakaka Primary and Bream Bay College join with 40 volunteers to help clean up the Bream Bay coastline. In total 178kg of rubbish was collected from the coastline around Ruakaka Beach, Uretiti and Marsden Point. An impressive effort! Organisers say thanks to the guys from Sustainable Coastlines, kids and volunteers, and Phoenix drinks for their support and delicious drinks! |
