Easter fishing competition a family affair

Timberworld      and      Mangawhai Boating & Fishing  Club are bringing back the Annual Easter Open Fishing Competition.

Sponsored   by  Timberworld   and the fishing club there are great prizes up for grabs. The competition  is open to all and will be run on Saturday March 30 (Easter Saturday) or if post- poned it will be on Sunday March 31.

Fisho’s will be heading  out from 6am   with   weigh-in   from   4pm   to  5pm.  If you can’t be there  to catch ‘em, then bring your wallets for the mammoth   fish   auction    following the weigh-in because  everyone loves fresh fish, and the club will be open with hot food and drinks available.

Competition  tickets  are  only $30 ($5 for children  up  to 13 years old) and are available from Darryl at Mangawhai Fishing & Tackle, and Trevor at Mangawhai  Service  Centre  both in Wood Street at the Heads. Entries close at 10am on day of fishing.

As this is the last weekend before winter moves in, make up a party of guys and  gals plus  the kids, charter a boat and get among  the big ones – both the fish and the prizes.  Generous sponsorship makes this a great tournament.
