Students excel at athletics competition

There  were a number of outstanding per formances  from  Rodney  College students   a the recent  Northland  Secondary Schools Athletics competition  held at ASB Sports  Arena Whangarei.

 The team of 20 returned  with five first places, nine second and seven third places, with many achieving personal bests.

First  place medalists  pictured  in the  back row are (from left) Alice Malyon (1st U14 triple jump), Matty Northin  (1st 400m & 800m Selwyn  Collins   (1st  U19  javelin),  Natasha Thrasyvoulou (1st U16 triple jump).
