Design wins logo comp

 

Mangawhai teen Natasha Tornquist, 16, has won a competition run by the Otamatea Harbour Care Society to design a new logo. Natasha incorporated flax leaves and a stylised koru into her design.

A student at Otamatea High School, Natasha is one of four students who gained NCEA Level 1, endorsed with Excellence this year. Natasha has been working as a barista at Mangawhai Museum cafe Jessies during the school holidays and in her spare time she trains her horse Teddy for dressage competitions.
