Just Married

Family and friends recently celebrated the wedding of Grant Bowmar, son of Willie and Nancy, and Alex Gason, daughter of Anne and Pete from Ocean Grove, Melbourne, at a magical spot in Mangawhai.

The bride arrived on a bright red Ferguson 35 tractor while the rest of the wedding party arrived in Daimlers from Classic Occasions, Auckland.
During the ceremony sands from Ocean Grove (where Alex grew up) and Mangawhai (where Grant spent lots of his childhood) and Karekare Beach (where they are both members of the surf lifesaving club) were poured into a vessel as a keepsake memento.

The reception was held in a marquee on the lawn with lots of dancing and typical merriment from Aussies and New Zealanders.

The Bowmar Ferguson boat tractor featured again the following day among fifty others in the Mangawhai Tractor Cavalcade.
