Ray White expands team.jpg "ray white team(copy)") Local Ray White Real Estate business owners Kaye and Stewart McElwain have expanded their office by merging the Mangawhai Professionals sales team into the Ray White family.Bringing across a highly experienced sales team of three, along with their portfolio of residential listings, Kaye is excited about the change. “I’m delighted to welcome an incredible wealth of experience into our business. Stewart and I often discuss the growth challenges in our business such as intense competition and recruiting the right people. Rather than attempting to cherry pick one or two people across differing offices and market places, it made sense to inject energy and growth by approaching an experienced team of sales people. We had witnessed Carla, Paul and Kristine operating in our patch with a keen eye and were impressed by their work ethic and of course results.” For principals Carla and Paul Gordon, the knock at the door came at a good time. “Our gut feel told us to go for it,” Carla explains. “For us, to remain in the industry without the pressures of ownership and a constant battle against competitors, felt like an exciting opportunity. We can concentrate on the areas that light us up including sales, negotiating and the enjoyment of servicing the clients we have built up over the years. Leaving behind some of the less appealing facets of business ownership will be great.” Ray White Mangawhai’s new purpose built office is very supportive of new faces to fill the seats, there is plenty of desk space, fantastic IT systems and a strong administrative team to ensure the new players have a smooth transition. The change should also prove seamless and in fact beneficial for vendors listing under the Ray White umbrella.
