A packed hall for latest Rebus Club meeting

 

Mangawhai Combined Rebus Club’s May meeting invited long-time local Margaret Haverfield to speak about her early years in the UK, recounting the war years and rationing.

Margaret travelled, eventually emigrating to New Zealand. Part two of her talk will happen at a later date.

The hall was filled to capacity for main speaker Jonathan Green (pictured) from the Puhoi to Warkworth motorway consortium. This was Jonathan’s second talk to the Rebus Club group, using photographs and drone footage to illustrate the project and its progress.
