Local travel agent joins ‘the one per cent’

 

Claudia Moir, a travel broker with NZ Travel Brokers and based in Mangawhai, recently completed an in-depth training program with global travel company Tauck, thus joining less than one per cent of the company’s worldwide network of travel agents who have successfully completed the program. 

Founded in 1925, Tauck is a leader in premium quality guided travel with over 120 land journeys and cruises to more than 70 countries and all seven continents. The company has been named both the ‘World’s Best Tour Operator & Safari Outfitter’ and ‘World’s Best River Cruise Line’ three times by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.

Claudia was enrolled in the company’s agent training program Tauck Academy, and by successfully completing its curriculum she becomes a Tauck certified agent who qualifies for special benefits and other exclusive opportunities provided by the company. The programme included intensive classroom training with topics covered including Tauck’s history, details of the company’s extensive product line, and what separates Tauck’s tours and cruises from those of its competitors.

Operating as the local travel broker in Mangawhai for seven years, Claudia is a member of Travel Agents Association NZ (TAANZ) and a cruise ambassador with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). She can book anything from flights, accommodation, tours and cruises. She is happy to meet with her clients either in their home or in a local cafe to discuss their travel plans.
