Range of styles reflects passion for art.jpg "IMG 3271 Wendy Clifford a(1)") Mangawhai artist Wendy Clifford cannot remember a time when she did not have a pencil, paint brush, or pastel in her hand to carry out her artistic endeavors. Over the years her love of drawing has lead her into print making, wood and lino cuts and mono printing (as seen above).Now Wendy mostly uses oils, acrylics, and acrylic inks in her paintings, giving her the vibrant colours that she loves so much.
After many years as an art tutor she is now a full-time artist, with her work in private collections in the USA, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
In 2010 Wendy won the painting section at the Kaipara Art Awards, and this year came second in the print and photographic section.
