Northland win some, lose someKaiwaka Sports Association recently hosted two representative rugby matches. First was an U13s Roller Mills match between Northland and Thames Valley. There was a mixed bag of weather but the boys coped well with the changing conditions.
Northland came away with a great win 48-5. Following that the U16s took the field, Northland South vs Auckland South. A closely fought and injury-ridden match saw Northland going down 10-19. Pictured is Otamatea IMB player Ashton Coates (ball in hand) on the attack for Northland South. Saturday September 27 sees KSA hosting two more representative U16 matches – Northland North up against Auckland Central at 12.30pm, and Northland South will play Auckland East at 2pm. Spectators welcome. |
