Liz grabs grocery prize.jpg "Liz Cameron grocery grab(copy1)") Any housewife who sets aside an hour or two to do her weekly shopping needs to take a lesson from Liz Cameron (pictured left).Liz was the winner of the Daffodil Day fundraising raffle which gave her 90 seconds and as many speedy trundlers she could fill, zipping around Molesworth 4 Square to make good her win. Only a small crowd gathered and urged Liz on as she judiciously but none too slowly wheeled her way up and down the aisles gathering first essentials then some treats. "I couldn't believe how fast 90 seconds passed!" she said. It was a novel end to a good cause and store Managers John and Heather Rankin (pictured middle and right) were happy to be involved, and warmly thanked for their participation. |
