local boys slide into surf team

 

Mangawhai surfer Joseph ‘Nubby’ Critch-field (pictured) has been named in the 2014 Northland Surfing Team that will be compet-ing in Taranaki at the 2014 Surfing NZ National Champs.

A Year 9 student at Rodney College, Critchfield placed 2nd overall in the 2014 North-land Scholastics Surfing Series in the Under 14 Boys Division. He joins fellow lower north surfer Tom Norton (Bream Bay College) in the team.
