Contractors clear Brynderwyn blockage

A large lump of clay, dirt and a small tree slid onto the Brynderwyn overpass on SH1 this morning, blocking the southbound lane. Police were notified of the landslide by passing motorists around 8.30am and are in attendance. Contractors are currently clearing the dirt and debris and detours are in place for both south and northbound traffic via Waipu.
